Inpatient Pharmacy Manager

Inpatient Pharmacy Manager needed in beautiful Glenwood Springs, Colorado! 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacy leader who can balance clinical oversight with day-to-day pharmacy operations and staff management.

Position:

• Contract: October-January (Possibly longer)
• ASAP start
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Monday–Friday day shift
• Must be available to cover evenings, overnights, or weekends when staffing needs arise
• Travel allowances available for lodging, meals, and incidentals
• Pay: $3,600/week +

Responsibilities:

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations and pharmacy staff
• Ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication use
• Develop and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures
• Manage medication procurement, storage, preparation, and inventory
• Maintain controlled substance accountability and compliance
• Develop schedules and monitor pharmacy workload
• Support staff education, competency, and performance
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
• Step in as a staff pharmacist when needed

Requirements:

• PharmD required
• Current Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
• EPIC experience required
• Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy
• Demonstrated leadership in pharmacy operations and clinical services
• Strong regulatory knowledge and clinical judgment
• BLS - American Heart Association
• ACLS - American Heart Association
• Flu vaccine required
