Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Hackettstown, New Jersey

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at a retail location in Ogdensburg, NY. This role offers the flexibility of interim or permanent employment and requires a professional with proven leadership skills and a commitment to regulatory compliance and patient care excellence.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sundays: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Register and maintain status as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage the entire pharmacy operation, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control to meet financial objectives.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel, managing job performance and professional development.
• Train and hold pharmacy associates accountable for regulatory and company policy adherence.
• Oversee completion of mandatory company training for pharmacy staff.
• Engage in patient-centered services, including immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain patient safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure department facilities meet legal and company standards.
• Complete continuing education as required by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License (required)
• Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
