Pharmacy Manager Opportunity – Ogdensburg, NY

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations in a well-established retail environment. This role offers both interim and permanent placement options, catering to candidates ready to take ownership of a pharmacy department and drive patient-centered pharmaceutical services.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
• Saturday: 9 am – 3 pm
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge, ensuring registration with the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage pharmacy operations to meet financial targets including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Lead business development initiatives within the store and local community.
• Oversee pharmacy support personnel, conducting performance reviews and providing guidance and training.
• Ensure all pharmacy associates complete mandatory company training.
• Participate in delivering immunization, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness services.
• Provide thorough patient and provider counseling on medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
• Promote continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
• Maintain an organized and compliant work environment.
• Complete required continuing education programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification and comfortable administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience in a Pharmacy Manager role preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient care and regulatory compliance.
