Pharmacy Manager - Hackettstown, NJ

This Pharmacy Manager role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail environment located in Ogdensburg, NY. The position operates on a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, with Sundays off. This direct hire position is available as either an interim or permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations as well as company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to optimize financial performance.
• Engage in business development activities within the store and the local community.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conduct performance reviews, and provide guidance and training to pharmacy associates.
• Hold pharmacy staff accountable to regulatory and company policies while ensuring completion of all required training.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication use, potential interactions, and side effects; monitor patients to ensure compliance and therapeutic success.
• Maintain participation in continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.
• Uphold a clean, organized, and professional work environment in compliance with legal and company standards.
• Complete state-required continuing education and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License.
• Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience in a pharmacy manager role is preferred.
