Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Hamilton, New York

A pharmacy leadership role is available in Norwich, NY, offering an opportunity to manage a retail pharmacy with oversight of all operations, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered services.

Location:

• Norwich, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Serve as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge registered with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage all pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to achieve financial goals.
• Lead and develop pharmacy support personnel, including performance management and training compliance.
• Participate in business development activities within the store and community.
• Provide patient counseling on medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient health and therapy adherence.
• Conduct immunization administration, medication therapy management, and wellness programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment consistent with legal and company standards.
• Complete required continuing education and quality improvement programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in New York State.
• Immunization certification with proficiency in administering all vaccines.
• Recent pharmacy manager experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
