An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY. This role demands strong leadership and a commitment to regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Closed Sundays
Key Responsibilities:
- Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy and ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company policies.
- Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department, including budget oversight, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control to meet financial goals.
- Lead pharmacy support staff by providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drive business development efforts both in-store and within the community.
- Participate in the delivery of patient services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects; monitor patients to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace consistent with legal and company standards.
- Complete mandatory continuing education as required by state law.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active NY pharmacist license
- Immunization certification with proficiency in administering all required vaccines (mandatory)
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements
