Lead and manage a dynamic retail pharmacy environment as a Pharmacy Manager in Ogdensburg, NY. This contracted opportunity offers flexibility with an interim role available for 3-6 months and potential for permanent placement. Location:

  • Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am – 7pm
  • Saturday: 9am – 3pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the registered supervising pharmacist or pharmacist-in-charge with the state board.
  • Oversee pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration.
  • Lead and develop pharmacy support staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and continuing education requirements.
  • Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, side effects, and therapy optimization.
  • Maintain high standards of facility cleanliness and operational organization.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Pharmacist License
  • Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines
  • Recent experience in pharmacy management preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
