Pharmacy Manager in Heuvelton, NY

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available in Ogdensburg, NY, seeking a skilled Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the supervising pharmacist, registered with the state board of pharmacy, ensuring pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to achieve financial objectives.
• Lead pharmacy support staff through performance management, training, and accountability for regulatory adherence.
• Engage in community and business development activities to promote pharmacy services.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Offer expert counseling to patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and continuous quality improvement within the pharmacy.
• Complete required continuing education and company training programs.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
