Pharmacy Manager in Heuvelton, NY

Lead the pharmacy operations at a dynamic retail location in Ogdensburg, NY, as a Pharmacy Manager responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing financial performance, and enhancing patient care services. This direct hire role offers Monday through Sunday shifts, with most weekends off, fostering a balanced work schedule.

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
• Oversee all pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial goals.
• Lead pharmacy staff with guidance, training, and performance management.
• Conduct patient counseling on medications, side effects, and therapy management.
• Participate in patient-centered programs such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy environment.
• Support continuous quality improvement programs for patient safety.
• Complete continuing education to stay current with pharmacy laws and practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacist license (mandatory)
• Immunization certification with confidence in administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience in pharmacy management preferred
