Pharmacy Manager in Heuvelton, NY

This position offers an opportunity to serve as a Pharmacy Manager in a well-established pharmacy setting located in Ogdensburg, NY. This role supports either interim or permanent placement and requires a candidate committed to upholding both regulatory standards and operational excellence. The Pharmacy Manager will oversee the pharmacy's day-to-day functions, promote community health initiatives, and lead a team focused on quality patient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 am to 7 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm, with Sundays off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
• Manage pharmacy operations, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial targets.
• Engage in business development activities both in-store and within the community.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel, conduct job performance reviews, and provide training and accountability.
• Ensure all pharmacy associates complete mandatory training.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug therapies, interactions, and side effects while monitoring therapy efficacy.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
• Maintain an organized and compliant pharmacy work environment.
• Complete required continuing education programs and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice pharmacy in New York State.
• Immunization Certification with proficiency in administering all vaccines (required).
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
