A leadership opportunity is available for a Manager of Regional Pharmacy to oversee operations at multiple pharmacy sites within a health system. This role involves directing financial performance, quality assurance initiatives, and system-wide pharmacy practices in collaboration with pharmacy and hospital leadership.

Location: Janesville, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday with 24/7 accountability
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • PharmD degree from an accredited college or university
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management roles within pharmacy operations
  • Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director of Pharmacy in developing and implementing hospital pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality standards in compliance with legal requirements
  • Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership on operational planning, budgeting, problem analysis, and providing solutions
  • Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with medical staff and various hospital departments
  • Work with information systems to develop and oversee pharmacy management programs, charge systems, and inventory controls
  • Participate in multiple committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, Patient Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy Committees
  • Manage human resource functions including hiring, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation adjustments, and employee relations
  • Ensure pharmacy operations meet established productivity, budgetary goals, employee engagement, and patient outcome targets
  • Perform all duties integral to pharmacy manager responsibilities and other tasks as assigned
