A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail setting in Williamsport, PA. This direct hire opportunity requires strong leadership skills and pharmacy expertise to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts: 9 AM – 7 PM
  • 11-hour shifts: 9 AM – 8 PM
  • 12-hour shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM or 9 AM – 9 PM
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts
    Hours Bi-Weekly: 69 hours
    Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy teams, driving associate engagement and communicating pharmacy strategy effectively.
  • Oversee the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business by promoting script growth and clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
  • Collaborate with district management to control inventories and track sales to meet customer demand.
  • Align departmental performance with key metrics, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through healthcare counseling and addressing medical-related inquiries.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure pharmacy security and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
  • Communicate with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription questions.
  • Manage department tasks like cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls to ensure timely completion.
  • Focus on ongoing training and development to improve staff performance and control labor costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
