Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at a busy store location in Williamsport, PA. This full-time, direct hire role offers the opportunity to manage a skilled team and contribute to the growth and success of the pharmacy department.

Location:

• Williamsport, Pennsylvania (Retail Pharmacy Setting)

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts: typically 9 AM – 7 PM
• 11-hour shifts: typically 9 AM – 8 PM
• 12-hour shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM or 9 AM – 9 PM
• Average 69 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates, promoting team engagement and clear communication of company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory effectively and support profitable business growth, including the implementation of clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Align departmental performance with key metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to ensure proper prescription management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy, while overseeing ongoing staff training and development.
• Prioritize tasks such as inventory cycle counts and will-call management to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a retail pharmacy setting

This direct hire position offers competitive compensation ranging from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour (with potential for higher rates). Immediate availability is preferred.
