Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Johnson City, New York

A leading retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a full-time, direct hire position in Binghamton, NY. This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts and requires strong leadership to drive business growth and ensure excellent patient care.

• Full-time, approximately 62 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations teams to engage associates and communicate department and company strategies effectively.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance according to state and federal regulations.
• Drive profitability and prescription growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage pharmacy inventory and coordinate with district management to meet customer demand and optimize profits.
• Align department performance with key measurable metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide outstanding customer service, including counseling on healthcare and resolving customer inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, directing training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness to comply with regulatory standards.
• Build strong relationships with physicians and utilize resources to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Oversee pharmacy operations such as cycle counts, inventory control, and timely follow-up on will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current pharmacist license in New York State
• Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
