A leading animal health compounding pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee pharmacy operations and drive excellence within their compounding team. This full-time, onsite role is based in Bakersfield, CA, and plays a pivotal part in maintaining the highest quality standards while supporting operational growth and staff development.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pharmacists focused on compounding • Establish and monitor productivity and quality benchmarks • Oversee daily compounding workflows and support pharmacy operations • Ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800> standards and relevant regulations • Maintain detailed training records and ensure adherence to proper compounding techniques • Assist with medication selection and preparation processes • Identify opportunities for process improvements and formulation enhancements • Collaborate closely with pharmacy leadership and interdisciplinary teams • Uphold confidentiality and comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications: • Current California Pharmacist license in good standing • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution • Minimum 2 years managing pharmacy staff in a lab or compounding setting • 2 to 5 years of hands-on compounding experience • Strong knowledge of USP compounding standards, State Board regulations, and 503A requirements • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship capabilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Location: Bakersfield, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:15 PM
Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite
This is a contract opportunity with compensation between $160,000 and $185,000 base salary plus bonus, commensurate with experience. Benefits eligibility applies.
