Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a growing specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas, NV. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new pharmacy operation that is bringing specialty compounding services in-house and build the pharmacy team and operations from the ground up.

The pharmacy specializes in a focused portfolio of medications, including GLP-1 therapies, allergy medications, and immunotherapies, with plans for continued growth and expansion.

Experience: 3+ years of pharmacy experience
Setting: Specialty / Compounding Pharmacy
License: Active Nevada Pharmacist License required
Additional Licensing: Candidates with an NV license who are willing to obtain a California license will be considered
Preferred Background: Specialty, infusion, hospital, or sterile compounding experience

About the Opportunity

This PIC will play a key role in establishing and growing the pharmacy operation. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to help build the pharmacy team, develop workflows, oversee compliance, and collaborate with leadership as the business expands.

A dedicated compliance consultant is also involved to support regulatory strategy and help ensure the pharmacy remains compliant with applicable state and federal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge
Ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA requirements, and applicable state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Oversee sterile compounding operations, workflow, staffing, and quality assurance
Ensure compliance with multi-state pharmacy regulations, including California and other non-resident state requirements
Develop, maintain, and enforce SOPs related to sterile compounding and pharmacy operations
Hire, train, and oversee pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Manage pharmacy inspections, audits, and regulatory interactions
Oversee environmental monitoring, validation, and required documentation
Ensure proper handling, storage, preparation, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inspection readiness
Partner with leadership on operational strategy, licensing, expansion, and continued growth\

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced pharmacist who is comfortable taking ownership of pharmacy operations and helping build a growing specialty pharmacy.

Candidates should have:

Active Nevada Pharmacist License
Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as the business expands
3+ years of pharmacy experience
Hospital, infusion, specialty, or sterile compounding experience
Strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and regulatory requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead, hire, train, and develop a pharmacy team
Interest in a growing organization with opportunities for long-term advancement
Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to help build pharmacy operations from the ground up
