This direct hire position requires a dynamic Pharmacy Manager experienced in infusion pharmacy management and staff supervision. The role ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations while delivering safe, patient-centered medication care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pharmacists and technicians, managing workflow and daily tasks
- Address and resolve issues with referral sources and internal teams promptly
- Set, implement, and monitor quarterly and annual department goals
- Provide pharmaceutical care, including patient counseling, prescription review, and dispensing
- Enforce strict adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations among staff
- Collaborate with logistics to ensure correct storage and handling of medications and supplies
- Lead human resources efforts including employee evaluations and structured feedback
- Develop and maintain team performance goals supporting departmental success
Qualifications:
- Proven management experience within a pharmacy setting, with a strong emphasis on staff training and orientation
- Prior infusion pharmacy or infusion management experience is essential
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate pharmacy teams
- Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems is beneficial
- Valid Georgia Pharmacy License required
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Schedule flexibility with administrative on-call duties
This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $150,000 - $165,000, based on experience. The interview process includes an initial discussion with Talent Acquisition, a secondary regional interview, and a final onsite interview.
