Retail Pharmacy Manager in Lewisburg, PA

This opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacy Manager within a retail setting located in Williamsport, PA. The role offers direct hire employment with a variable schedule that typically includes 10 to 12-hour shifts between 8am and 9pm.

Location: Williamsport, PA
Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
• 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
• 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
• Variable day/afternoon shifts
  Hours Bi-Weekly: 69 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaborative relationships with the store operations team and communicate pharmacy department strategies effectively.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance checks.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, aligning with sales trends to maximize profitability and meet customer demand.
• Lead clinical program initiatives including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth.
• Set and track performance metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the pharmacy department.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including coaching, training, and managing disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer complaints to strengthen trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription-related issues.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the pharmacy and oversee ongoing staff development to improve retention and control labor costs.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy operational tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
