A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in Sunbury, PA. This direct hire role offers varied shifts including 10 to 12-hour schedules, generally starting between 8am and 9am and ending between 7pm and 9pm, with around 69 hours bi-weekly. The start date is immediate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with federal and state Board of Pharmacy regulations through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Lead the pharmacy department in building a profitable business, increasing prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Manage pharmacy inventory, track weekly sales, and coordinate stock orders to meet customer needs and maximize profitability.
- Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with seven key department metrics, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing medical-related questions and offering healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and organize the department environment.
- Resolve customer complaints to foster trust and loyalty.
- Liaise with physicians and use reference materials to clarify prescription details and resolve issues.
- Oversee routine pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
