Retail Pharmacy Manager in Lewisburg, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead its Mifflinburg, PA location. This position offers the opportunity to drive business growth while managing a dedicated pharmacy team in a dynamic retail environment. The schedule includes variable day and afternoon shifts, with bi-weekly hours totaling 62 and shift lengths ranging from 10 to 12 hours (typically starting between 8am and 9am).

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with the store operations team and effectively communicate department goals and company strategy to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance according to state and federal regulations.
• Develop a profitable pharmacy by growing prescription volume and promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Oversee inventory management and control costs by tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer demand.
• Align team performance with key pharmacy metrics, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolution of customer concerns.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, leading training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security and organization within the pharmacy and ensure adherence to operational priorities, including inventory cycle counts and will-call management.
• Engage with physicians and utilize professional references to resolve prescription issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
