An established retail pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead its operations in Mifflinburg, PA. This full-time, direct hire position offers variable day and afternoon shifts and immediate start availability. The role requires a skilled professional to oversee pharmacy functions while driving business growth and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaboration with the store operations team, enhancing associate engagement and aligning pharmacy activities with company strategies.
- Oversee prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage the department to maximize profitability through script growth and implementation of clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Collaborate with district management and staff to control inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock effectively.
- Align department performance objectives to measurable key metrics for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
- Coordinate interactions with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns.
- Ensure pharmacy cleanliness, staff development, and efficient task prioritization including inventory management and will-call processing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
