This full-time Pharmacy Manager position is based in Williamsport, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. The role calls for a direct hire professional to lead pharmacy operations with a focus on compliance, customer service, and business growth. A variable day/afternoon shift schedule offers flexibility for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, promoting engagement and aligning pharmacy associates with company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Manage inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profits.
- Drive the pharmacy’s business performance by focusing on key department metrics and implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to foster trust and loyalty.
- Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription-related issues efficiently.
- Oversee department cleanliness, personnel development, and task prioritization, including inventory management and customer will-calls.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
