Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule and Hours:

  • 69 hours bi-weekly
  • 10-hour shifts (typically 9am – 7pm)
  • 11-hour shifts (typically 9am – 8pm)
  • 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaboration with store operations and engage pharmacy associates by communicating department goals and company strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance by overseeing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance for prescriptions.
  • Drive pharmacy profitability and script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Manage inventory efficiently to meet customer demand while maximizing profits, working closely with the District Manager.
  • Align team performance with measurable department metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, addressing medical inquiries and healthcare counseling needs.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer issues to build trust, and liaise with physicians to clarify prescription concerns.
  • Ensure a clean, organized pharmacy environment and promote continuous staff training and development.
  • Prioritize department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and prescription follow-ups for timely completion.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
