Pharmacy Manager in Lewisburg, PA

This leadership role oversees a retail pharmacy department, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability through effective team management and clinical program implementation. Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts with bi-weekly 69 hours

• 10-hour shifts: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 11-hour shifts: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate strong collaboration with store operations to align pharmacy goals and communicate strategies to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations.
• Drive department profitability and prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory control in partnership with the Pharmacy District Manager, including tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer needs.
• Set and monitor performance metrics focused on department efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead, train, and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy associates to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while resolving customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Engage with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure optimal patient care.
• Prioritize daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and patient outreach for will-calls.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
