Pharmacy Manager - Lewisburg, PA

Oversee pharmacy operations and lead a team in a dynamic retail environment located in Sunbury, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers a variable schedule with bi-weekly hours totaling 69, including 10-, 11-, and 12-hour shifts primarily during day and afternoon times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a strong partnership with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate company strategies effectively.
• Ensure all prescriptions meet state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Drive business profitability by expanding prescription growth and clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with the District Manager to manage inventory efficiently, tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer demands.
• Align department performance with key metrics to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while managing customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Engage with physicians and utilize resources to resolve prescription-related issues promptly.
• Oversee daily pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls to ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Work Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
• 10-hour shifts typically 9 AM – 7 PM.
• 11-hour shifts typically 9 AM – 8 PM.
