Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

Work Hours:

• Bi-Weekly: 62 hours
• Typical shifts:
  • 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
  • 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
  • 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
• Variable day/afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong working relationships with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive engagement and communicate strategic goals.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and regulatory compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance checks.
• Manage the pharmacy’s profitability and growth, including script volume and clinical program implementation such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy District Manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order stock efficiently.
• Align department objectives with key performance metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exemplary customer service by assisting with medical-related inquiries and counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness and handle customer concerns to foster trust and loyalty.
• Engage with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues and use reference materials for decision-making.
• Prioritize and complete essential department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
