Pharmacy Manager – Mifflinburg, PA (Retail Setting)

A retail pharmacy location in Mifflinburg, PA seeks a full-time Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations and lead pharmacy staff. This direct hire opportunity offers varied shifts and the chance to manage a dynamic pharmacy team while focusing on customer care and business growth.

Schedule & Hours:

• Bi-weekly total: 62 hours
• Typical 10-hour shifts: 9 AM – 7 PM
• Typical 11-hour shifts: 9 AM – 8 PM
• 12-hour shifts: 8 AM – 8 PM or 9 AM – 9 PM
• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with store operations and communicate strategies effectively to pharmacy associates.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance.
• Build a profitable business by growing prescription volume and promoting clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory to meet customer demand and maximize profits in coordination with the District Manager.
• Align departmental performance with key metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with healthcare counseling and resolving customer concerns.
• Supervise and train pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff while maintaining security and compliance.
• Engage with physicians and utilize resources to resolve prescription or customer issues.
• Maintain an organized, clean pharmacy environment and prioritize tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and will-call handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
