A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its pharmacy department in Burnham, PA. This full-time, direct hire role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, typically consisting of 10- to 12-hour shifts between 8 AM and 9 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a collaborative relationship with store operations and engage pharmacy associates by clearly communicating department and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance.
- Drive profitable business growth and increase prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Manage inventory effectively by tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer demands and maximize profitability.
- Lead and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, handling training, coaching, and discipline while maintaining department security.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving complaints and medical-related inquiries to build trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and prioritize tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
- Monitor department performance against seven key metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage a retail pharmacy team.

Schedule:
- Variable shifts, including 10-, 11-, and 12-hour shifts scheduled between 8 AM and 9 PM, averaging 62 hours bi-weekly.
