A retail pharmacy location is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead their pharmacy department with a commitment to excellence and growth. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work environment within a bustling retail setting, providing you the opportunity to manage pharmacy operations while engaging with both business and clinical aspects of pharmacy care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Bi-Weekly: 62 hours
  • 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
  • 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
  • 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
  • Variable day/afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong collaboration with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive engagement and effectively communicate department and company strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance processes aligned with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop a profitable pharmacy business by leveraging clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), to support script growth.
  • Manage inventory and maintain financial goals by monitoring sales trends and ordering pharmaceutical stock accordingly.
  • Align department performance with key operational metrics while delivering outstanding customer service and healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and associates, with responsibility for training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Maintain the security and cleanliness of the pharmacy department and handle customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to address prescription questions and patient needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
