A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available in Lewistown, PA, for a Pharmacy Manager ready to oversee daily operations and drive business growth. This direct hire position offers varied schedules with shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours, including day and afternoon options to provide flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with the store operations team and engage pharmacy associates by communicating department and company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, complying with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Grow pharmacy business profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory control by tracking weekly sales and ordering stock to meet customer demand.
• Align departmental performance with seven key metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; lead training, coaching, and discipline initiatives.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer complaints to enhance trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to manage prescription issues.
• Oversee pharmacy cleanliness and organization.
• Prioritize and complete essential departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call orders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule Details:

• 10-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 11-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• 12-hour shifts: either 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Variable day/afternoon shift scheduling to support operational needs.
