A leading retail pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a busy location. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead pharmacy services either on an interim basis for 3-6 months or permanently, with flexible options to meet business needs.

Location:

  • Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Sundays: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the supervising pharmacist, registered with the state board, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage all pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory to meet financial objectives.
  • Lead and develop pharmacy staff through training, performance management, and enforce compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Participate in business development activities both within the store and the local community.
  • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and medical providers on medication usage, interactions, potential side effects, and monitor patient progress for optimized therapies.
  • Maintain pharmacy facilities and workstations in a neat, clean, and organized fashion adhering to legal and company guidelines.
  • Ensure ongoing quality improvement and patient safety programs are active and effective.
  • Complete required continuing education programs and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in New York State required.
  • Immunization Certification mandatory, with confidence in administering all vaccines.
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.
