A leading retail pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations in a busy, community-focused location. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic role with the potential for permanent placement and comes with a structured schedule. Relocation assistance is available for permanent candidates.

Location: • Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule: • Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM • Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities: • Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. • Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, including budget management, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control. • Lead business development efforts within the store and the community. • Manage and evaluate pharmacy support staff performance and provide ongoing training. • Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training. • Participate in patient-centered programs such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives. • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, side effects, and optimize therapeutic outcomes. • Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety. • Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to company and legal standards. • Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law. • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Desired Qualifications: • Valid New York State Pharmacy License • Immunization Certification with confidence administering all vaccines • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
