Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Lisbon, New York

Oversee the pharmacy operations at a dynamic retail location serving the community in Ogdensburg, NY. This direct hire opportunity offers the potential for either an interim or permanent role, with a structured schedule to balance weekday and weekend coverage.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the registered supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
• Manage all facets of pharmacy operations including financial goals, budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff through training, performance management, and accountability to regulatory and company standards.
• Engage in community and in-store business development activities.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide expert counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication use, interactions, side effects, and patient adherence.
• Participate actively in continuous quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety.
• Maintain an organized, professional workspace and ensure department cleanliness to legal and company standards.
• Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification with comfort in administering all vaccines (required).
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
