Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Lisbon, New York

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for an experienced professional seeking to oversee and enhance pharmacy operations. This role holds full responsibility for the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, managing personnel, and optimizing financial outcomes. The position offers flexibility with both interim and permanent placement options, requiring a proactive approach in patient care and business development within the community.

Location:

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure pharmacy adherence to federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
• Manage all operational aspects including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration.
• Lead pharmacy support personnel, including performance management and training.
• Drive patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide thorough counseling on drug usage, side effects, and therapy optimization to patients and healthcare providers.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement programs for patient safety.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of pharmacy facilities and workstations.
• Complete required continuing education programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification, with comfort and capability in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
