Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Lithonia, Georgia

Oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations and clinical services focused on home-based intravenous therapy in this leadership role. As the Pharmacy Manager for a home infusion branch, you will lead sterile compounding activities, manage pharmacy staff, and ensure strict regulatory compliance to support high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct daily pharmacy operations, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control.
• Lead recruitment, training, orientation, and performance evaluations of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of continuous development and long-term success.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams such as physicians and nurses to optimize infusion therapy outcomes and maintain clinical expertise.
• Participate in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives to drive profitability and service excellence.
• Support administrative pharmacy on-call duties; regular on-call coverage is rotated among pharmacist team members.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia.
• 5-7 years of combined clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings.
• Extensive knowledge of IV admixture services, sterility standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership skills with a strong emphasis on staff training and orientation.
• Experience with CPR+ or CareTend pharmacy management systems is highly preferred.
