Pharmacy Manager in Long Beach, CA

An interim Pharmacy Manager position is available to oversee the daily operations of a 50-bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility’s pharmacy department. This contract opportunity spans approximately 8 to 12 weeks and requires a Monday through Friday day shift schedule. The role provides leadership and supervision for a team of 8 pharmacy staff members, ensuring efficient pharmacy department functioning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department
• Supervise and provide guidance to a team of 8 pharmacy staff members
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize medication management
• Oversee inventory control and medication distribution processes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to start immediately
• Experience working in long-term acute care or hospital pharmacy settings is a plus
