An interim leadership role is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a 50-bed long-term acute care (LTAC) facility in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position requires managing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and supervising a team of eight employees. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with a potential for temp-to-hire depending on the facility’s needs.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shifts only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy department operations to ensure efficient and compliant practices
  • Manage and mentor a team of eight pharmacy staff members
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care goals
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Pharmacist license required
  • Previous hospital supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Ability to start immediately to fill an urgent vacancy
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills in a healthcare setting
