An Interim Pharmacy Manager role is available for a 50-bed LTAC facility in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated pharmacy team and ensure smooth daily operations within the department. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with a potential to transition to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy department to maintain high standards of patient care and medication management
  • Manage and provide supervision to a team of 8 pharmacy staff members
  • Coordinate workflow, staffing, and resources effectively
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support overall facility goals

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current California Pharmacist license is required
  • Previous experience in hospital pharmacy supervision or management preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to start immediately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Day shift hours
