An interim leadership role is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a 50-bed long-term acute care (LTAC) facility in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position requires managing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and supervising a team of eight employees. The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 to 12 weeks, with a potential for temp-to-hire depending on the facility’s needs.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts only
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy department operations to ensure efficient and compliant practices
- Manage and mentor a team of eight pharmacy staff members
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care goals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Pharmacist license required
- Previous hospital supervisory or management experience preferred
- Ability to start immediately to fill an urgent vacancy
- Strong leadership and organizational skills in a healthcare setting
