Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Los Gatos, California

An immediate opening is available for an Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager at a 250-bed hospital in Northern California. This contract position offers a 3 to 6-month assignment with an ASAP start. The role reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy and focuses on ensuring the seamless operation of pharmaceutical care delivery across clinical, financial, administrative, and information system areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control pharmacy workflow to maintain efficiency and compliance.
• Hire, train, and manage pharmacy staff to meet hospital standards.
• Serve as the primary communication link between the Pharmacy Management team, physicians, and hospital personnel.
• Ensure consistent adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Leverage hospital and community resources to optimize operational effectiveness.
• Assume responsibilities of the Director of Pharmacy in their absence.
