This opportunity is for a Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) at a new behavioral hospital in Lynchburg, VA. Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts
Duration: 13 weeks+ (possibility for temp-to-hire) Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Manage medication distribution and safety protocols within the behavioral hospital setting.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize pharmacological treatments for patients.
- Serve as the primary pharmacist responsible for pharmacy services and staff oversight.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health pharmacy practices.
- Ability to lead and manage pharmacy operations effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
