This leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee pharmacy operations across multiple sites within a health system. The Manager of Regional Pharmacy is responsible for driving financial performance, quality initiatives, and operational efficiency while fostering collaboration with medical staff and hospital departments.

Location: Janesville, WI
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday with 24/7 accountability

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership for assigned pharmacy sites, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and legal requirements
  • Partner with system pharmacy leadership on budgeting, operational planning, and problem-solving
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives alongside the Director of Pharmacy
  • Facilitate strong communication and collaboration with medical staff and other hospital departments
  • Oversee pharmacy information management systems, charge systems, and inventory controls
  • Participate actively in various hospital committees including Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, and Patient Medication Safety
  • Manage human resources functions such as hiring, staff development, performance evaluations, and employee relations
  • Ensure operational goals related to productivity, budget, staff engagement, and patient outcomes are met or exceeded
  • Fulfill responsibilities of the pharmacy manager and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management roles within pharmacy operations
  • Active Wisconsin pharmacist license required
