An experienced infusion pharmacy manager is needed to oversee daily operations and clinical services for home-based intravenous therapies. This leadership role focuses on ensuring safe sterile compounding and infusion processes while managing pharmacy personnel and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The position offers the opportunity to drive branch profitability and impact patient outcomes through effective pharmacy and clinical management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
  • Lead recruitment, training, orientation, and performance evaluation of pharmacists and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines
  • Maintain clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
  • Contribute to branch budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategic initiatives
  • Provide administrative on-call support as needed while pharmacy team rotates regular on-call duties

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Georgia
  • 5-7 years of clinical and operational pharmacy experience, preferably in home infusion or acute care settings
  • Proven expertise in IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with emphasis on team training and orientation
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems highly preferred

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with schedule flexibility required
  • Administrative on-call responsibilities as needed
