Pharmacy Manager in Massena, NY

A Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY. This direct hire opportunity offers a critical leadership role overseeing pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, staff management, and patient-centered services.

Responsibilities include:

• Registering with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensuring the pharmacy complies with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Managing the complete pharmacy department operation to meet financial goals such as budgeting, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory oversight.
• Leading pharmacy support personnel, conducting performance reviews, and providing staff training.
• Participating in business development and community outreach initiatives.
• Administering patient counseling on medication use, dosage, side effects, and therapy adherence.
• Supporting immunization, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and legally compliant work environment.
• Engaging in continuous quality improvement and completing required continuing education.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in New York State
• Immunization Certification with proficiency in administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
