An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a well-established retail pharmacy located in Ogdensburg, NY. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work environment, where the incumbent will oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while driving business success.

Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

Responsibilities:

  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory for financial viability.
  • Lead business development activities within the store and community.
  • Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conduct performance reviews, and ensure accountability in regulatory adherence.
  • Provide guidance, training, and ensure completion of all company-required training for pharmacy associates.
  • Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient progress to optimize therapies.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement programs to enhance patient safety.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Complete continuing education as required by NY state law and perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Pharmacist License (required).
  • Immunization Certification and proficiency in administering all vaccines (required).
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
