Pharmacy Manager in Medina, OH

This direct hire opportunity is for an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Manager located in Medina, OH. The ideal candidate will oversee daily pharmacy operations and clinical services related to home-based intravenous therapies, ensuring both patient safety and regulatory compliance. This leadership role involves managing sterile compounding, supervising pharmacy personnel, and driving branch profitability.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Flexibility required for administrative on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
• Lead recruitment, training, orientation, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling for pharmacists and technicians
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP <797/800> compounding standards
• Maintain clinical oversight for infusion therapies, collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Participate in budgeting, workflow improvements, and strategic initiatives to enhance branch performance

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Ohio
• 5-7 years’ experience in clinical and operations roles within home infusion or acute care settings
• Proficient knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation requirements
• Strong leadership skills with a history of managing pharmacy teams effectively
• Experience with CPR+ or CareTend pharmacy systems is highly preferred
