An infusion pharmacy leader is needed to oversee daily operations and clinical services in home-based intravenous therapies. This role is ideal for a pharmacist experienced in sterile compounding, infusion pharmacy, or specialty pharmacy settings, who excels at managing pharmacy teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Medina, OH
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Must have flexibility for administrative on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory control
  • Lead and develop pharmacy staff through recruitment, training, orientation, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding standards to maintain quality and regulatory adherence
  • Collaborate clinically with healthcare providers to optimize infusion therapy patient outcomes
  • Support branch financial goals by participating in budgeting, workflow improvements, and performance initiatives

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio
  • 5-7 years of clinical and operational pharmacy experience, preferably in home infusion or acute care environments
  • Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory requirements
  • Proven leadership skills in managing pharmacy teams
  • Experience with CPR+/CareTend systems highly preferred
