A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations in Abilene, TX. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with leadership skills and experience managing pharmacy teams, ideal for someone seeking growth within a dynamic environment.
Location: Abilene, TX
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Lead and manage pharmacy staff effectively
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations
- Maintain pharmacy standards, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support team development
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Texas Pharmacist License
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience, preferably with PIC experience
- Strong background in sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Demonstrated leadership ability and team management skills
- Motivated to grow professionally within the role
