• Bi-weekly hours: 62
• Typical 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
• Typical 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
• Typical 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and communicate department and company strategies to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure accuracy of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business by promoting clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
• Collaborate with district management to control inventory, track sales, and order stock efficiently to meet customer needs.
• Align team performance with key department metrics to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service with expert healthcare counseling and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, associates, and support personnel—overseeing training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure the department is orderly and compliant.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve prescription issues and maintain high standards.
• Prioritize tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and will-calls to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
