Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania

A full-time leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager in a retail setting located in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire role focuses on driving operational excellence and exceptional customer service within the pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the store operations team, leading pharmacy associates with clear communication of department and company strategies
• Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of all prescriptions by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Quality Assurance procedures consistent with state and federal Board of Pharmacy standards
• Manage the department to build profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Collaborate with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory effectively through weekly sales tracking and pharmaceutical stock ordering
• Align performance objectives to measurable department metrics that focus on efficiency and effectiveness
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing medical inquiries, and counseling patients on healthcare matters
• Oversee training, coaching, discipline, and management of pharmacists and pharmacy support personnel
• Maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer issues thoughtfully, and engage with physicians to clarify prescription details and resolve concerns
• Keep the pharmacy organized and clean, prioritize and complete tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and handling will-calls promptly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization license

Schedule Details:

• Bi-weekly hours totaling 62
• Variable shifts including 10-hour (9am–7pm), 11-hour (9am–8pm), and 12-hour (8am–8pm or 9am–9pm) shifts
• Days and afternoons shifts available
• Immediate start available
