Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative partnership with the store operations team, communicating company strategies and engaging pharmacy associates.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Lead the department to build profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Monitor inventory and sales trends alongside the pharmacy District Manager to optimize stock levels and maximize profits.
- Align team performance with key departmental metrics to enhance operational efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, directing training, coaching, and performance management.
- Maintain pharmacy security and ensure the workspace is clean and orderly.
- Resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, using reference materials to clarify prescription concerns.
- Oversee daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
