A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead its Mill Hall, PA location in a full-time, direct hire capacity. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, foster strong teamwork, and deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care within a dynamic retail environment. The position involves overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and enhancing customer experience through clinical services and personalized healthcare counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build collaborative relationships with the store operations team, promoting associate engagement and aligning department goals with company strategy.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance checks.
- Manage department profitability and growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
- Collaborate with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory and meet customer demand efficiently.
- Align performance objectives with key department metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, directing training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy department security and handle customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
- Engage with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
- Oversee cleanliness, organization, and ongoing training to improve performance and reduce turnover.
- Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks, including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
