Retail Pharmacy Manager - Milton, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their Sunbury, PA location. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role managing pharmacy activities in a busy retail setting with variable day and afternoon shifts.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shifts (9:00 am – 7:00 pm)
• 11-hour shifts (9:00 am – 8:00 pm)
• 12-hour shifts (8:00 am – 8:00 pm or 9:00 am – 9:00 pm)
• Approximately 69 hours bi-weekly
• Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and effectively communicate departmental and company strategies to all pharmacy associates.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance for every prescription through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance aligned with state and federal regulations.
• Manage pharmacy operations to promote profitability and prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
• Coordinate with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory and meet customer demand.
• Lead, train, and supervise pharmacists and support staff, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer concerns, and establish trust through excellent service.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details and improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and reduce turnover.
• Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks regularly, including cycle counts, inventory control, and managing will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred
