A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail pharmacy located in Williamsport, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to lead a pharmacy department with a focus on operational excellence, customer service, and staff development. The position includes flexible shift schedules with 10- to 12-hour shifts, typically ranging from 8 AM to 9 PM, allowing for a varied workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to align pharmacy goals with overall business strategy.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance processes in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Drive script growth and profitability by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Manage pharmacy inventory to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and oversee cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
  • Proven leadership skills in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.

Location: Williamsport, PA
Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts, including 10-hour shifts (9 AM–7 PM), 11-hour shifts (9 AM–8 PM), and 12-hour shifts (8 AM–8 PM or 9 AM–9 PM).
