Oversee and lead a retail pharmacy operation in a dynamic environment with an emphasis on collaboration, customer service, and clinical excellence. This direct hire opportunity as a Pharmacy Manager is based in Williamsport, PA, with a respected retail setting offering flexible and varied schedules to support work-life balance.
Work Schedule:
- Typically 10-hour shifts from 9 am to 7 pm
- 11-hour shifts from 9 am to 8 pm
- 12-hour shifts either from 8 am to 8 pm or 9 am to 9 pm
- Variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 69 hours bi-weekly
Core Responsibilities:
- Foster strong working relationships with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate strategic initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing per state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Lead the pharmacy department to achieve profitable growth by implementing clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
- Manage inventory and control costs in collaboration with the pharmacy district manager
- Align team efforts with measurable performance objectives to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and resolve customer issues to build trust
- Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, directing training, coaching, and performance management
- Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organized workflow
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and utilize resources for accurate prescription management and problem resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
- Current pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
- Current Pennsylvania immunization license
