A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and drive business growth. This full-time direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team while ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Location: Williamsport, PA
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts (typically 9am – 7pm)
- 11-hour shifts (typically 9am – 8pm)
- 12-hour shifts (8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm)
Hours Bi-Weekly: 69 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with store operations to foster associate engagement and communicate company strategies
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription filling through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance
- Manage inventory and control stock to meet customer demand and maximize profitability
- Promote clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth
- Align department performance with seven key measurable metrics to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
- Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management
- Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while upholding regulatory standards
- Address customer concerns, resolve complaints, and provide expert healthcare counseling
- Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription details and resolve issues
- Oversee inventory tasks such as cycle counts, will-call management, and timely task completion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization Certification
