A retail pharmacy leader role is available in Williamsport, PA, seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations with a focus on customer care, team management, and business growth.
Location: Williamsport, PA
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts typically from 9am to 7pm
- 11-hour shifts typically from 9am to 8pm
- 12-hour shifts between 8am to 8pm or 9am to 9pm
Schedule is variable with day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 69 hours bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaboration with store operations to engage and guide pharmacy associates while communicating department and company objectives.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough reviews and quality assurance checks.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, track sales, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support growth and profitability.
- Align team performance toward key department metrics to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supervise pharmacological and support staff, providing coaching, training, and discipline as needed.
- Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized work environment.
- Handle customer concerns promptly to build trust and loyalty, while maintaining professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Oversee routine tasks like inventory control, cycle counts, and managing customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization Certification
