An opportunity exists for a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and clinical services focused on home-based intravenous therapies. This direct hire position is based near Columbus, OH, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including administrative on-call duties and some schedule flexibility required. The role offers a competitive compensation range between $150,000 and $158,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
- Lead recruitment, training, orientation, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling for pharmacists and technicians.
- Ensure strict compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to maintain clinical excellence in infusion therapies, optimizing patient outcomes.
- Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives to drive branch profitability.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Ohio.
- 5-7 years of clinical and operational experience, preferably in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings.
- Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation.
- Proven leadership skills managing pharmacy staff.
- Experience with CPR+ and CareTend systems highly preferred.
