Retail Pharmacy Manager - New Berlin, NY

This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Manager role based in Oneonta, NY. This position involves overseeing the full operation of the pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations, and leading the pharmacy team to achieve operational and financial goals. Job Type: Contract (Interim or Permanent)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board, and company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration.
• Lead business development initiatives in-store and within the community.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conducting performance reviews and training.
• Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, side effects, and therapy optimization.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs to maintain patient safety.
• Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workstations and facilities.
• Complete continuing education as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacy license required.
• Immunization certification with comfort administering all vaccines is required.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
