Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Newbury Park, California

This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of a 300-bed regional inpatient medical center’s pharmacy. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Operations Manager will manage employee scheduling, swiftly address operational challenges, and ensure seamless pharmacy workflow. This position requires a proactive leader experienced in hospital pharmacy operations, ideally within similar healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy as their principal support
• Manage pharmacy staff scheduling and coordinate resources effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting pharmacy services promptly
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems for operational oversight and data management

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience managing pharmacy operations in an inpatient setting
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy workflows in a 300-bed or similar-sized facility
• Proficient in Cerner pharmacy applications and related healthcare IT systems
